Welcome!

Since 1997 I have been traveling around the world to compete and to explore new rivers and cultures. Each new environment has been full of truly fascinating experiences, but recently (while on a mission to simplify life by downsizing superfluous possessions), I discovered that the only tangible documentation I have of them is through a small library of photos that I have collected over the years. Other than that I carry my memories in my mind and in my heart, sharing what I have learned through coaching people in kayaking and in life.

Eventually I had to admit to myself that both kayaking and traveling will forever play a role in my future, and with the desire to finally document my adventures a website seemed the only logical avenue by which to achieve this. As the perceptions I have about myself and of the world around me continually evolve with each new adventure, I hope to use these experiences to educate, inspire and, most importantly, to entertain you through stories, photos, and video…enjoy!
